It is better …. She passed 7 years ago due to a heroin addiction. It was a profoundly horrific experience. Many people have been fine with me about her death. Curiously, many of my immediate family members were scurrilous in their conduct and tone during and after the funeral. I am sick with the platitudes of the US and every nosy person who feels they have the right to offer me something in their mind to assuage their own self loathing. Growing up in Northern NJ near NYC I generally find people to be ok. However, the constant culture wars of the right disgust me and people attempting lay Christo fascist opinions on how I should best deal with my grief. I am sick of it. I acquired Italian citizenship through my ancestors and attempt to make very good use of it despite being a 58 year old man I am fine with exiting this country and merely being an occasional visitor.
